C'est un homme très musclé. Il porte une moustache blanche, un bandana et il possède beaucoup de cicatrices au torse. Il porte aussi un pantalon, un manteau semblable a la Marine et des bottes noires.

Il est mentionné au Chapitre 16 par Itachi Uchiwa.Il raconte que Barbe blanche avait comme chef de division Portgas.D.Ace.Il à été assassiné par Barbe Noire,son remplaçant.Shizu.D.Ichigo serait parti de son équipage pour le venger.
